The original site Bel Art Project was developed in 2003 with the single purpose of simplifying the compilation of the artwork photographs that the author was collecting. The only page available was the art gallery page.

It was quickly retooled when the artist acknowledged that it would make no sense to keep the art gallery sealed and disabled to the general public.

The on line art gallery took off and was later to become a personal online auction. Since that time it has been permanently impacted by those small free features captured in the internet to enrich the sites content and promote the exhibition.

The developments on the art gallery have made it more visited each time. Soon other contemporary artists met it, and several required to be a member, in order to value their art sites and benefit with some new visitors sent by Bel Art Project. Good ranks help their promotion on the web and probably their art sales.
