Publish eBook is a free tool (programmed as a Microsoft Word VBA macro) to easily convert your Microsoft Word Documents to eBooks you can load into the eReader application in your PDA (Palm OS or Pocket PC).

What is it good for?

It's good if you normally work with Microsoft Word, and you want to read your stuff in your PDA, with eReader. You can make easy conversions, and you can get really good formatting on your PDA.

It's particularly good if want to use structured documents, with headings, tables of contents, links, indexes, whatever. People who are able to use advanced features of Microsoft Word will make the most out of this converter.

It's as if you could choose "Save as eReader" or "Save as eBook" inside Microsoft Word, and read your Word Documents in your PDA.

It might also be useful to save Web Pages as eReader eBooks, but it converts everything to text: complex pages will be a bit confusing on the small screen, but it's still very useful after you find the chunk of text you really want to read.

What is it not good for?

You might not want this program if you use iSilo or one of the other eBook readers on your PDA, and you're not willing to change to eReader. Or perhaps if you don't have Microsoft Word or you're no good working with it! Or if you need to edit your documents on your PDA (use Pocket Word or Documents To Go for that).
