This year, IndieLisboa pays homage to four film directors: Edgar Pêra, Michael Glawogger, Jay Rosenblatt and Nobuhiro Suwa.
These special programs start today with the screening of Glawogger’s celebrated documentary WORKINGMAN’S DEATH, and Jay Rosenblatt’s short films DOUBT, BLOOD TEST, PARIS X2, and BRAIN IN THE DESERT. |

THE FEARLESS FREAKS, a documentary by Bradley Beesley about The Flaming Lips, opens today IndieMusic, a program specially designed for IndieLisboa midnight sessions, and a cinematic approach to independent music. Along with THE FEARLESS FREAKS, THE DEVIL AND DANIEL JOHNSTON, by Jeff Feuerzeig, NEIL YOUNG: HEART OF GOLD, by Jonathan Demme, YANG BAN XI – THE 8 MODELWORKS, by Yang Ting Yuen, and SCREAMING MASTERPIECE, by Ari Alexander Ergis Magnússon will also be screened. |

The 3rd edition of IndieLisboa – Lisbon International Independent Film Festival starts today. During ten days, will be screened 300 films, between shorts and features. “ME AND YOU AND EVERYONE WE KNOW”, by Miranda July, it’s the opening film.
